John opened ADH Insurance Agency, Inc's doors in April 1986. As the name states, the company started specializing in Annuities, Disability, and Health to best serve our clients. He continues to travel the Chicagoland area to meet all your health and financial needs.

John, noting the importance of professional advancement, received his LUTCF (Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow) in 1991 and his RICP (Retired Income Certified Professional) in 2013. His awards include lifetime member of the "Million Dollar Roundtable" for annuities and life insurance, a lifetime member of "Leading Producers Roundtable" for health insurance, National Quality award, and National Sales Achievement award.

Before ADH, John graduated from Western Michigan in December 1971 with a BS in Marketing - Mid Management and a minor in General Business. He worked for Jewel Food Stores where he quickly advanced to become the youngest store manager. After Jewel, John became a branch manager with Hyponex (a division of Gillette razor). While starting his MBA, John took his first insurance job with Penn-Corp in July 1976. After starting his family with his wife Kristie, he completed his MBA at Roosevelt University with a concentration in International Business.

John lives with his wife Kristie, a retired school nurse, in Oak Park. He enjoys being grandpa to 2 wonderful grandchildren.  

Andrew's tireless and enduring drive to pursue excellence brought him to ADH Insurance Agency in 2008. He is currently the president and co-owner of the agency and the go-to guy for all of your Medicare, health, life, or investment needs.

We are proud of Andrew's decorated military background. He served as an Assistant Dedicated Crew Chief in the United States Air Force from 1998 until 2004. As an Airman, he had a 100% pass rate with “zero defects” on all Quality Verification Inspections and personal evaluations. He prepared and maintained aircraft in direct support of Operation Noble Eagle and was a key player in the generation and maintenance of 12 aircraft for Operation Northern Watch over northern Iraq ensuring the security of the United States of America.

After the Air Force, Andrew worked as a Senior Personal Financial Representative for a Washington Mutual Premier Club Branch in Algonquin, IL. During his time with Washington Mutual, he was a member of the Multi-Million dollar club, with over 8.5 Million in sales for 2005. In 2006, he was the 22nd National Top Sr. Personal Financial Representative for the entire company. In 2007, Andrew received his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Northern Illinois University.

Andrew currently resides in Elgin, IL with his wife Vanessa, his two boys Lucas and Jaxon and their two boxers, Mick Jagger and Stevie Nicks.

Scott has proven to be a valuable team member since joining ADH Insurance Agency in 2012.  With his knowledge, attention to detail, and superior customer service; Scott has continued to be a top producer year after year.  He specializes in Medicare, life insurance and annuities.

Scott has always had a passion for sports.  While in high school he was a stand-out baseball player.  He was the first player in school history to play varsity baseball all 4 years!  In addition, Scott also played basketball and golf.  He later went on to receive his Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education from Northeastern Illinois University.

You will most likely find Scott out on the golf course in his free time.  Although he does not get to play as much as he would like; Scott still maintains his single-digit handicap.  Scott currently lives in Algonquin with his brother Grant, twin nephews Chase and Parker, and dog Pacha.

Terry has been an ADH Insurance Agency team member since 1989. He currently focuses his expertise on Medicare supplements, life insurance, and tax-sheltered annuities with multiple top-notch carriers. In 1994, Terry received the honor of earning his Fellow designation from the National Association of Life Underwriters known today as LUTCF.

Terry has been a go-getter all his life. He graduated high school with honors and 5 athletic letters. Upon graduation he immediately joined the workforce where he held jobs as a forklift operator; supervising his crew, and in heavy construction. In 1997, he joined the Penn Corp Financial marketing company as a sales rep. Honors with them include multiple-time President's Club winner for top sales achievement and Diamond Club winner for helping promote new products and develop personal training programs.

Public service is a big part of Terry's life. He was elected and served on the Elgin City Council from 1995-1999. In 2013 and 2017, he chose to run once again and was re-elected to serve the city of Elgin. Terry was also appointed to the Hanover Township Mental Health Board. Here he helps oversee and award taxpayer-funded grants of nearly one million dollars to agencies in the Elgin area that treat residents with mental health and addiction problems.

Sylvia started with ADH Insurance Agency in January 2018. Sylvia is bilingual and will be able to help serve our Spanish-speaking customers. Her work history and extensive knowledge of bank and financial products will serve invaluable to the ADH Insurance Agency, Inc. team.  Sylvia is originally from Quito, Ecuador where she started her college degree in Business. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Business degree after moving to the United States in Washington, DC from Mt Vernon College.

Sylvia's first job was working as an Ambassadors Assistant with the Embassy of Ecuador. In 1983, she took a new role with the World Health Organization where she traveled to provide technical assistance to underdeveloped countries. Before coming to ADH, Sylvia worked her way up from a Senior Personal Banker to Senior Service Manager at BMO Harris Bank from 2001-2017.

Sylvia is married to her husband Kevin. Together they have 3 beautiful children and four very precious grandchildren, Lucas, Ella, Jaxon and Ava. She loves to spend time with her family and their favorite pastime is watching the Washington COMMANDERS football team, they're dedicated fans that NEVER miss a game.

Ryan joined the ADH Insurance Agency team in February 2018. Ryan has worked her way up to be an Associate General Agent. She is experienced with all Health Insurance including Medicare and under 65 and an expert with life insurance.

In 2006, Ryan achieved a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Northern Illinois University. She comes to ADH Insurance Agency with a wealth of financial product experience from her 10 years of work as a Senior Service Representative at BMO Harris Bank NA. Ryan's tireless pursuit of excellence and superior customer service skills make her an invaluable addition to the ADH Insurance Agency, Inc. Team. Don't be surprised if you've met her before, she has tended bar at the Buffalo Wild Wings in Algonquin since 2005.

Ryan resides in Cary, IL with her husband Robert, son Tadgh, daughter Medbh and their dog Kylie. In her spare time, you might find her at one of the local theaters catching a production or out and about playing with her kids.

Kobe joined the team at ADH Insurance Agency in February 2020. Like most agents, he started as an assistant while training to become an Agent. It was very clear early on that his customer service and eagerness to learn were going to translate well when he became an agent. Kobe went on to receive his Health and Life insurance license just a few months later. Currently, he is a full-time agent experienced in all types of Health and Life Insurance.

Growing up Kobe enjoyed playing sports. He started playing baseball at a young age and continued until he graduated high school. In addition to baseball, Kobe was also a part of his high school’s varsity bowling team. The bowling career only lasted one year, but he still enjoys bowling as a hobby! After graduating from Larkin High School in 2018, Kobe furthered his education and baseball career at Elgin Community College. Unfortunately, his baseball career ended sooner than expected due to an arm injury.

Today Kobe resides in Elgin with his mother Siamphay and two dogs Simba and Ace. In his spare time, Kobe enjoys being outside, going on long walks with his dog Ace, spending time with both his friends and family, and also loves going to baseball games!

Ashley joined the ADH Insurance Agency team in December 2018. She is the Operations Manager and is responsible for keeping our business practices compliant, processing policies, as well as booking client appointments.

Ashley tutored and assisted in Special Education classrooms before earning her Bachelor’s degree in History and Education from Roosevelt University in 2012. Before joining the ADH team, she taught Social Studies classes and worked as a Case Manager on Chicago’s west side.

Today, she resides in Lake In The Hills, IL with her husband Kyle, son Caleb and their pet cats Lana and Frankie. Ashley and Kyle are expecting another child in February of 2024. In her spare time, Ashley is relaxing with family and friends, reading, biking and making stops at historic sites along the way.

Sadie has worked part-time for ADH Insurance Agency since the summer of 2006. She is the special assignment guru that keeps the business current and up-to-date. She comes to us from a small town in central Illinois. Sadie went to Illinois State University where she received her Bachelor's degree in Physical Education. She is currently also working as a full-time elementary physical education teacher. In 2006, Sadie furthered her education and earned a Master's in Educational Leadership from Aurora University. In 2017, she received one of the highest distinctions a teacher can get by becoming a National Board Certified Teacher.

In her spare time, Sadie likes to spend time with her dogs Riley and Cricket. She is also an avid cook, amateur photographer, and athlete that has completed 4 Tough Mudders.

Rich has been a part of the ADH Insurance Agency tradition for over 30 years. His many years of experience in the Life and Health Insurance industry are very valuable to his clients. He currently services them in the areas of Medicare supplements, life insurance, long-term care, and annuities.

Rich's dedication to the industry has earned him honors 7 times for production from American Equity Investment Life Holding Company and Annuity National Brokerage Company (ANBC). His background working as a consultant for many banks as a financial service consultant strengthened his work ethic for great personal service.

Rich retired in 2021 and in his spare time, he loves to travel. This travel often takes him to different destinations to see his family. He is also a lover of music.

Kevin joined the ADH Team in the spring of 2022. Kevin was a 10-year veteran of the United States Postal Service. Kevin realized that his work ethic and passion for service were better suited for the Health and Life insurance markets serving our clients. Kevin has quickly established himself as a great agent and helps his brother-in-law Drew manage the agency's clients. Kevin has set the bar of what is to be expected from a new agent.

Kevin was born in Washington D.C. and moved to Illinois in 2001 with his family. Kevin has lived in the Chicagoland area since 2001, but remains a diehard Washington Commanders fan. He graduated from Jacobs High School in 2008 and completed his associate's degree in business at Harper College in 2011.

Kevin resides in Bartlett with his wife Diane, two daughters Ella and Ava and two dogs Misha and Myla. Kevin enjoys going out on the Fox River on his boat. He also enjoys spending every Sunday with his family. He played baseball all through his youth and plays in a men’s softball league in Schaumburg every Wednesday. Kevin also enjoys wakeboarding and snowboarding.

Regina joined the ADH team in June of 2023 as an Agent Assistant. Regina quickly realized her passion for helping people and her experience in the medical field could be better suited helping clients with their health and life insurance needs and she was promoted to Agent. Regina earned her Medical Assisting certificate during her junior year of high school, and spent the next 26 years caring for people of all ages. She was employed by The Detroit Medical Center (DMC) in Detroit, Michigan for almost 25 years before moving to the Chicago area in the summer of 2021. 

She has experience in medical billing and authorizations and has worked in various fields such as Family Medicine, Rheumatology and Telemetry. She spent ten years working in Orthopedics and finished the last seven years of her career with the DMC in Labor & Delivery.

Regina was born and raised in White Lake, Michigan, graduating in 1996 from Lakeland High School. She has a passion for cooking, which led her to become the recipe tester for “A Pound of Cure Cookbook” by Dr. Matthew Weiner in 2020. She’s also passionate about baking and is a self-taught sourdough baker. Karaoke is her guilty pleasure, and she may start singing whenever the opportunity presents itself.

Regina resides in Marengo with her partner, Adam, her son, Liam, Adam’s children Emma, Harper and Brayden and their Dogo Argentino-Pitbull mix, Leo.
